Watching the protests by young British people so far this week I was struck at the opportunities for young people to express their opinions here. In Maputo, there's not much open space for the Mozambican youth to express itself, and the few spaces that exist are formal seminars and workshops organized in expensive hotels - not even in schools and universities. As I've experienced myself, young Mozambicans are just voraciously looking for opportunities to express their views!
